City Recruit Young midfielder Ukraine

City Recruit Young midfielder Ukraine - Manchester City announced the recruitment of young midfielder of Ukraine, Oleksandr Zinchenko. City signing the 19-year-old from the Russian league club, FC Ufa.

"Manchester City are happy to announce the transfer of Ukraine Oleksandr Zinchenko midfielder of FC Ufa," wrote City on their official Twitter account.

City did not mention the details of the transfer Zinchenko and duration of the contract. However, the Mirror reported that Zinchenko had signed a contract duration of five years. Before getting Zinchenko, City have recruited Ilkay Guendogan and Nolito in the transfer market this summer.

Zinchenko is Shakhtar Donetsk academy product. He moved to FC Ufa on a year ago. Zinchenko appeared in 33 games with FC Ufa last season with a donation of two goals and four assists. Zinchenko also entered the Ukrainian national team squad at Euro 2016. He appeared in three games in the group phase, but could not help his country qualify for the knockout round.
