Djokovic Advance to Third Round - Top seed Novak Djokovic advanced to the third round of Wimbledon in 2016. He won three sets of his opponent in the second round, although the final set lasted quite a lot.
Djokovic won 6-4, 6-3, and 7-6 (5) in a match on Centre Court the All England Club on Wednesday (29/06/2016) night, when dealing with the world number 55 Adrian Mannarino (France).
In that game Djokovic made six aces, but also made eight double faults. While opponents of the Serb recorded five aces as well as three double faults.
Even so, Djokovic was able to record only 21 unforced errors. While Mannarino instead make unforced errors with the number doubling of the defending champion.
The result left Djokovic has not lost a set from two matches so far, after the first round and won 6-0, 7-6 (3), and 6-4 from Briton James Ward.
Djokovic next will await the winner of a tennis match Brazilian Tomaz Bellucci featured opponents 28 from the United States, Sam Querrey, to be faced in the third round.
